Wesley began his career as a self-taught visual artist in Raleigh, where he worked as a make-up artist for Prescriptives and the John Robert Powers Modeling Agency.  In 2001, Wesley relocated to Asheville and studied to be a hairstylist.  Mastering these two trades has allowed him to be involved locally and abroad with theater productions, fashion shows, commercials, and photo shoots.

Wesley believes that it is important to feel confident in how you look and to make what you have work for what you want.  As a hair stylist, he specializes in working with the natural texture of hair, as well as creating well-blended, vibrant color.
